A little Help - Edited

The trawler Ocean Breaker, which is owned by Ocean Choice International arrived in St. John's earlier this week under tow by the tug Beverly M1, I cannot confirm this, maybe someone can. The tug left port heading to the Grand Banks, then both arrived together . The trawler is 56 meters, 1,932 GT, the tug is owned by McKiel Marine.

Arriving for refit and delivering product

The coastal passenger freighter Northern Ranger arrived St. John's Dec 15, 2014 for refit. Her last port of call was Lewisporte, she had returned from the Labrador Coast where she was bringing supplies to communities before winter.
The Northern Ranger is 72 meters long, 2, 556 gt, she was built in 1986 at Port Weller dry-dock in St. Catherine's, Ontario. she was once owned by Marine Atlantic, but transferred to the Newfoundland government in 1998
The Sarah Desgagnes also arrived on Dec 15, 2014 and tied up just inside the harbour. The ship was built in 2007 measures 148 meters and weighs 11,711 gross tons and is owned and operated by Group Desgagnes

Greenwing Visit

The bulk carrier Greenwing arrived in St. John's Dec 14, 2014. The ship built in 2002, flies the Cyprus flag, and measures 186 meters, and has a gross tonnage of 18,311, she has three 40 tons capacity cranes on deck. This is the first time this vessel has been here to my knowledge.

Transhawk pays a visit

The cargo ship Transhawk arrived in St. John's Dec 3, 2014, after just recently visiting the Great Lakes, where she visited Hamilton and Montreal, she departed St. John's heading for Casablanca.
the Vessel was built in 2005 in China and measures 143 meters long, she is owned by Transatlantic Red

eri of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Burin Sea, all painted up

The supply vessel Burin Sea shown in this photo taken on Dec 5, 2014, but the ship arrived Dec 4, 2014 from the Terra Nova Oil Field. The vessel was built in 1983. it was a hull of a former Russian vessel that Secunda rebuilt, She has two engines with total horsepower of 10,000. She just recently completed a refit in St. John's where she was repainted as you can see by the photo.

Another tug for dry-dock

 The Atlantic Cedar shown on dry dock getting a new paint job. The tug is 30.8 meters long, gtoss tonnage 400, and built in 2005.
