Today's Arrivals

The Atlantic Explorer, a research survey vessel arrived in this morning. The built in 1987, measures 91.3 meters, has a gross tonnage of 4,639 and flies the Bahamas flag.

The other new arrival was the Skandi Inspector is a diving support vessel built in 1979 and converted in 1999, it measures 80.8 meters and dead weight tonnage of 2355. According to the Canadian Transportation Agency website the ship will be used to do a survey of the FPSO at the White rose oil field off the coast of Newfoundland.

Another tug for dry-dock

 The Atlantic Cedar shown on dry dock getting a new paint job. The tug is 30.8 meters long, gtoss tonnage 400, and built in 2005.
