Another interesting arrival

Today's arrival was the Boa Galatea. Owned by the Boa Group. The Boa Galatea and her sister the Boa Thalassa which visited in Aug 2010 are the world's first purpose built electromagnetic seabed logging vessel. This type of vessel uses electromagnetic pulses to paint a more accurate picture of what lies below, unlike sound the energy is reflected at different rates from different materials, allowing EMGS to measure the rate and identify the material.

The Ship is 80 meters long, it measures 3800 gross tons.
