Going on patrol

The little Canadian Coast Guard ship Harp departed St. John's Mar 31, 2013 for patrol south of St. John's. The Harp was built in 1986 in Georgetown, PEI, it carries out Search & Rescue up to 200 nautical miles offshore. Its main task is serach and rescue, it also checks aids to navigation as well respond to any poolution incidents.

Another tug for dry-dock

 The Atlantic Cedar shown on dry dock getting a new paint job. The tug is 30.8 meters long, gtoss tonnage 400, and built in 2005.
