Departing to pick up ferry Service

The ferry Apollo departed St. John's Mar 31, 2013 on its way to pick up the Strait of Belle Isle Ferry Run betweene Blanc Sablon, Quebec and St. Barbe, Newfoundland after a refit, which included dry-docking,

The Apollo is owned by the woodward Group and operated by Labrador Marine, the ship was built in 1970, is 109 meters, and gross tons is 6,480.

The Sir Robert Bond was replacing the Apollo, while on refit, the Bond is currently en route to Lewisporte, NL to lay-up.
