Lady Remington III still in as well

The little cargo vessel Lady Remington III shown in this photo Feb 25, 2013 still tied up in St. John's. Its been almost a year since it arrived. I'm not sure whats going on, I haven't been able to find anything on it.

Still in

The tug Charlene Hunt as shown in St.John's Feb 24, 2013 is still here and where I suspect will stay for a while yet.
Transport Canada says the vessel is not tot leave until the ship pass all inspections. The tug was built in 1962, her gross tonnage is 196, and her horsepower is rated at 3000.

Cape Dorset

The fishing vessel Cape Dorset as shown in St. John's Feb 10, 2013 probably undergoing repairs, due to the fact the ship was towed in St. John's Feb 1, 2013 by the supply vessel Maersk Chancellor, andd again after that by the Maersk Challenger. The vessel was built in 1999 in Norway and is owned by Icewater Harvesting.

Oceanex Sanderling arrives

The Oceanex Sanderling as shown arriving St. john's Feb 10, 2013 from Halifax. It wasn't the ideal conditions for a photo as you can see the fog around the ship. I would say the Sanderling had a rough time last night with all the bad weather that hit Newfoundland.

Northern Ranger departs Quebec for Fortune Bay

The Northern Ranger departed Quebec today, and is en route to Fortune Bay where is will operate between Bay L'argent and Recontre East. She will be stopping in Port aux Basques for fuel. The Northern Ranger has been in Quebec sine Sept 2012 where she had a gearbox repaired or replaced. She was towed from Goose Bay to Quebec by the Atlantic Elm.

Maersk Challenger coming back but without Orlova

VOCM is reporting that the Lyubov Orlova is now 460 KM east of St. John's, 90 KM outside Canada's territorial waters and Transport Canada will not go after it. The vessel is no threat to the Offshore installations so it will continue to drift. The AHTS vessel Maersk Challenger is on its way back to St. John's.

Another tug for dry-dock

 The Atlantic Cedar shown on dry dock getting a new paint job. The tug is 30.8 meters long, gtoss tonnage 400, and built in 2005.
