Wintering in Lewisporte

The NORTHERN RANGER, TUVAQ, DORSCH at the coastal dock, while the tankers, HAVELSTERN, ALSTERSTERN, NANNY and MOKAMI are tied up at the oil dock.

Tuvaq and Dorsch

Well, it turns out the TUVAQ is not spending the winter in St. John's. The TUVAQ is now in Lewisporte with the DORSCH along side tied up where the Sir Robert Bond docks.

The TUVAQ built in 1977 in Germany is 539 feet, while the DORSCH built in 1980 use to spend the winter in St. John's, but since the Woodward group bought the imperial oil facility in Lewisporte they now keeps the ships there.
