Now under Canadian Flag

The Woodward Group's new tanker the 1994 built Havelstern is now registered in St. John's as of Sept 8, 2011 according to the Transport Canada website

Another Big Visitor

Today Sept 13, 2011 brings to St. John's the Italian Flagged Aidaluna. The ship built in 2009, she is 826 feet long, can carry 2100 passengers and 607 crew.

Another new tanker for the Woodward Group

The tanker Havelstern arrived in Lewisporte, Newfoundland Sept 7, 2011 from Iqaluit, NWT.
The ship built in 1994, is 162 meters x 24 meter's and has a gross tonnage of 11,423 is the second new tanker purchased by the Woodward group in the last 3 or months, the fisrt was the Alsterstern.

The Articulated tug and barge combination Coho and barge Penn 92 as shown secured in St. John's Sept 2, 2011. The tug Coho is 4000 HP and registed in the United States. The Penn 92 is an asphalt barge and is 414 feet long.

The Cargo ship Happy Ranger as shown secured in St. John's Sept 2, 2011. The vessel built in 1998 is 138 meter's long is currently doing offshore work.

SPS Tarifa

The Spanish patrol ship Tarifa as shown secured St. John's Sept 2, 2011. The ship laid down in 2004 arrived St. John's Sept 1, 2011.

Another tug for dry-dock

 The Atlantic Cedar shown on dry dock getting a new paint job. The tug is 30.8 meters long, gtoss tonnage 400, and built in 2005.
