Lack of ice sends icebreakers back to port
A mild winter has sent two of Canada's largest icebreakers back to port. The TERRY FOX arrived in St. John's Feb 27, 2010, and the LOUIS S ST. LAURENT was due to arrive back in Argentia today.

CCGS CYGNUS
The Canadian Coast Guard Fisheries patrol vessel CYGNUS shown in this photo secured in St. John's. The vessel bulit in 1982 in Marystown, Newfoundland is used primary for fisheries patrol on the Grand Banks off Newfoundland, she is also used for earch and rescure operations off the East Coast of Newfoundland and on the Grand Banks.
