VOCM news reports the cruise ship NORWEGIAN JEWEL's visit to St. John's Sept 26, 2009has been cancelled due to high winds. This makes four visits cancelled so far this year.

MAERSK CHALLENGER returns to St. John's

The MAERSK CHALLENGER returned to St. John's on Sept 5, 2009 after operating in the North Sea. The ship operated out of Aberdeen for a time and also Nigeria

Another cruise ship visit cancelled

VOCM news is once again reporting that the cruise ship CROWN PRINCESS has cancelled its visit to St. John's due to adverse weather conditions, the second cancellation in three days.

AURORA Cancels visit to St. John's

VOCM news reported that the cruise ship AURORA has cancelled its visit today due to adverse marine conditions, this is the second cruise ship to cancel due to weather conditions, the second was the EURODAM


The SALARIUM arrived and departed St. John's Sept 12, 2009, formerly the Nanticoke, the Salarium has taked over from the Sauniere which is currently in Montreal and according to rumors, the ship is going to be scraped

SALARIUM makes second appearance

The SALARIUM arrived in St. John's for the second time Sept 5, 2009 in the evening to unload salt, and depart early moring hours Sept 6, 2009, wasn't able to get a photo due to late arrival and early departure


The tanker VEGA DESGAGNES arrived in St. John's Sept 5, 2009.

Another tug for dry-dock

 The Atlantic Cedar shown on dry dock getting a new paint job. The tug is 30.8 meters long, gtoss tonnage 400, and built in 2005.
