LOUIS S ST. LAURENT departs St. John's

The CCGS LOUIS S ST. LAURENT departed St. John's July 20, 2009 bound for Resolute, ETA July 29, 2009
This is the first time this ship has left St. John's, (her new home port), bound for the Arctic.
While in the Arctic, she will be doing some mapping of the ocean floor in the Northwest Passage, the continental shelf. Capt. Andrew McNeil says the ship will be collecting bathymetric and seismic data, and will work in the North untail October when it will return to St. John's
