Beaumont Hamel

The ferry Beaumont Hamel shown in this photo arriving St. John's April 22, 2009. The vessel lost power according to CBC News and went agound, she is in for repairs.

Busy Day with Supply Vessels

Today in St. John's was very busy with supply vessels. The vessels include, the Atlantic Hawk, Maersk Gabarus, Atlantic Kingfisher, Maersk Nascopie, Maersk Chancellor and Trinity Sea. The supply vessels are being used to make crew changes on the oil rigs offshore due to all helicopter flights are still grounded due to the crash last month.

 The Atlantic Cedar shown on dry dock getting a new paint job. The tug is 30.8 meters long, gtoss tonnage 400, and built in 2005.
